STAT Planning are passionate about the planning profession and dedicated to shaping its future. We are proud to share that Managing Director, Kay Carpenter, has taken up a position on the Education and Lifelong Learning Committee at the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI). Kay recently attended the first committee meeting in the RPTI headquarters in London.
This committee plays a crucial role in developing educational pathways that attract young talent into the planning profession. Through ongoing initiatives with schools and universities, the RTPI is actively engaging with students to inspire the next generation of planners.
At STAT Planning, we wholeheartedly support these efforts and are committed to fostering interest in the industry. Our involvement ensures that insights from the workplace directly inform the evolving educational industry, helping to shape curricula and professional development opportunities that reflect the real-world demands of the profession.
Kay has said that being a part of this committee is an honour and she is excited to contribute to this important work to encourage the next generation of planners to help shape our built environment.
