PLANNER/ SENIOR PLANNER

About the Role: We are seeking an ambitious Planner/ Senior Planner to join our established team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated planning professional looking to develop their career in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will manage your own caseload and maintain direct contact with clients, whilst also supporting senior colleagues on more complex projects. Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Responding to enquiries, developing planning strategies and fee proposals 
  • Preparing and coordinating planning applications, appraisals and supporting documentation 
  • Project managing consultants and liaising with local planning authorities and stakeholders 
  • Supporting appeals, land promotion opportunities and portfolio reviews 
  • Building and developing strong client relationships 
  • Assisting with business development and opportunities for growth

About YouAs a qualified Planner/ Senior Planner, you will have an accredited degree and membership of the RTPI or be working towards membership. You will have: 

  • A minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • A breadth of planning knowledge and project experience 
  • Excellent organisational skills and able to work independently 
  • Commercial awareness  
  • Energy and a proactive approach with a willingness to learn and excel 
  • Confidence in client facing situations and project management 
  • A team player approach 
  • A full UK driving license (manual or automatic) and access to a vehicle

PART TIME ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT

Minimum 3 days office based.

15 – 22.5 hours per week (office hours with some flexibility).

About the Role: We are looking for a proactive and organised Administrative Assistant to support our team with a variety of day-to-day tasks. This is a key role within the business, helping to ensure smooth operations and efficient internal processes. Typical tasks will include:

  • Creating and maintaining new job folders and project records
  • Proof-reading reports and documents to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Providing general administrative support to the team
  • Supporting ISO compliance and administration
  • Assisting with Health & Safety administration
  • Updating business development records and databases
  • Maintaining and updating the company website
  • Supporting marketing activities and materials

About You: We are looking for someone with the following attributes:

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident proofreading and editing documents
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
  • A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
  • Previous administrative experience is required

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary £25,000 - £28,000 (Pro-rata, depending on experience)
  • Flexible hours
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (Pro-rata)
  • 5% employer Pension contribution
