The Stat Planning team recently had the pleasure of attending the BE Design Sustainable Placemaking Padel event at Equinox Padel Club - and it proved to be an enjoyable and memorable afternoon.
It’s fair to say we may not have topped the scoreboard this time, but the team embraced the opportunity with enthusiasm, good humour and plenty of energy. The event provided a welcome chance to step away from day-to-day project work and connect with colleagues and fellow professionals from across the industry in a relaxed setting.
It was also particularly rewarding to experience padel courts first-hand, following our recent involvement in securing planning consent for similar facilities. Seeing these spaces in active use reinforces the growing popularity of this sport and its role within wider placemaking and leisure developments.
Events such as this highlight the importance of building strong professional relationships- not only through formal meetings, but also through shared experiences, collaboration and informal networking.
