STAT Planning recently launched its first Netwalking event—a refreshing take on professional networking that takes conversations off-screen and into the open air. Held in the heart of the legendary Sherwood Forest, this inaugural gathering brought together a diverse group of professionals for a relaxed walk filled with conversation, fresh perspectives, and a healthy dose of nature.
Participants enjoyed stepping away from their desks and into the woodland, where lively discussions unfolded alongside the sound of birdsong and the occasional surprise—like a few curious long-horned cows who briefly joined the route! The walk concluded with a welcome pause for tea and cake, giving everyone a final chance to chat and reflect in a more relaxed setting.
This event marks the beginning of a new series from STAT Planning aimed at encouraging meaningful interaction among professionals from a range of sectors. Netwalking offers a unique opportunity to slow down, listen, share ideas, and build connections that go beyond the usual networking script.
Plans are already underway for the next Netwalking event, set to take place in late summer. More details will be announced soon—watch this space.
