Last week, we were delighted to welcome our first work experience student to the STAT Planning team.
Dior, who is currently studying Property Development and Planning at Nottingham Trent University, spent the week gaining hands-on experience and insight into the planning profession. During her time with us, Dior was involved in a range of activities including carrying out site appraisals, attending client meetings, site visits, reviewing planning applications, and monitoring live applications through the planning process.
It was great to see Dior develop her practical skills in planning, building valuable skills in research, communication and professional judgement.
We’re always keen to support emerging talent and provide opportunities to experience the practical side of planning, and it was a pleasure to have a fresh perspective in the office.
We hope the week proved valuable and wish Dior every success with her studies and future career in the development industry.
